Fondazione Fabbrica Europa per le arti contemporanee is an organization which promotes culture creation and production through the realization of projects and events devoted to contemporary arts in all their aspects, from performing to visual arts and multimedia.
Since 1994 it organizes every year in Florence at the former railway station Stazione Leopolda, a remarkable example of industrial archaeology, the international Festival of contemporary performing arts Fabbrica Europa, fostering the experimentation of the most innovative artistic languages and creating a collaborative space, where artists from different background can interact in a multicultural and unconventional dimension.
Fabbrica Europa also develops production, co-production and promotion activities addressed to young and emerging artists.
Through a wide network of national and international partners it implements intercultural and interdisciplinary cooperation projects in the field of dance, music and theatre, especially focused on support and “accompaniment” of new creations.
Fabbrica Europa also carries out training activities such as workshops and masterclass and organizes meetings, lectures and conferences on on specific topics related to the performing arts.
